It is with great pleasure that ETMA receives the PME Líder 2023 distinction.
The PME Líder status is a seal of reputation created by IAPMEI, in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, the banking sector and mutual guarantee societies, which aims to distinguish companies with high levels of performance, based on the best ratings and economic and financial indicators.
Although this is not the first time ETMA receives this distinction, this award is a public recognition of the success of its business strategy, as well as of its contribution to the domestic economy. An extra incentive for the company to maintain its level of output for the upcoming years, reinforcing the constant growth of its global performance.
The PME Líder initiative was launched in 2008, within the strategy of the competitive promotion of the small and medium company segment, as a business reputation mechanism, which aims to distinguish national SMEs with the best economic and financial performances and risk levels.
The PME Líder status is, therefore, a mechanism of business qualification that indicates the merit of the best national SMEs through the creation of conditions to reinforce their reputation in the market and optimised access to funding. The goal is to boost growth and consolidation strategies regarding their competitive basis.
In 2016, the PME Líder project won the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) in the “Improving the Business Environment” category, with the recognition of its innovative nature, mainly its impact on the improvement of the access conditions by SMEs to funding.
