ETMA and ADOLESCERE?
Under its Policy IMPROVING LIVES – TOGETHER FOR A CAUSE ETMA’s employees annually choose an institution to sponsor, and for 2023 the chosen institution was ADOLESCERE.

To start this partnership ETMA received the responsible of the Institution, Carla Fernandes – Direction’s President and Rui Dória – Direction’s Member, in their facilities and together with the internal team their greatest needs were approached and identified.

Their greatest needs include seeking cooperation with companies and partners in the area of education and vocational training, for the citizens of the world they are receiving, often refugees from countries such as Afghanistan, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, among others.

These citizens are the target of human rights violations and it is everyone’s responsibility to contribute to fighting the phenomena that lead to social exclusion and deprotection and to combat the factors of exclusion, fostering citizenship values, thus contributing to a fairer and more equitable society, both locally and nationally.

In February, the first internal campaign will already take place to collect donations, including comforters, blankets, coats, and sweaters.

In the scope of this sponsorship, ETMA, together with ADOLESCERE and other partners already mentioned, will now outline and put into practice actions and dynamics that may meet ADOLESCERE’s needs, particularly directed to refugees.
