ETMA is updating and increasing its machine park with the acquisition of another high precision equipment: the Schütte SC9-26 Multi-Spindle Lathe.
ETMA has automatic multispindle lathes capable of turning parts until 35mm diameter. As an example of this capability we highlight the lathes Gildmeister GMC35 ISM, GM-16, AS-16, AS-20 e AS-25.
Schütte SC9 significantly increases the turning possibilities by adding 3 side spindles and by integrating the c and Y axis in all positions and all spindles for a more complete machining possibility.
The investment in this machine comes as an answer to the growth of high precision parts that it supplies to the new common rail injection systems. It is also a statement proving how ETMA is making all the efforts to implement cutting edge technology in response to the demanding automotive industry.
This multispindle lathe Schütte SC9-26 has a total of 9 spindles CNC with control of up to 62 axes with the new Sinumerik 840D. The 3 side spindles allow the machining of complete parts in a single equipment, thus reducing the time of production.
This investment also means that ETMA will be more competitive in the production of more complex parts.
