MIDEST: A new start in 2018
This new edition will be held in conjunction with INDUSTRIE Paris (the exhibition for production technologies and equipment), Smart Industries (the exhibition dedicated to the Industry of the Future) and Tolexpo (the trade show for sheet metal working equipments and solutions) at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center.
This large gathering thus gives name to a big event so-called GLOBAL INDUSTRIe.
The world’s largest subcontracting network
MIDEST is considered the sole international show to specialize in industrial subcontracting. The show is important as it establishes relationships between customers and subcontractors.
At ETMA, we think this show is a great opportunity not only to exhibit our core services and great potential in the metallurgic sector but also to identify new partners, gather information on key industry topics and to gain an understanding of trends in technology, innovation and industry 4.0.
Midest and the Global Industrie
The ideia of MIDEST’s new position within the Global Industrie framework is to turn the show into a more attractive spot for those searching for specialist, technological know-how. This motto is particularly favorable to ETMA’s objectives as an exhibitor.
The show counts with 16 sectors of activity represented and more than 1300 exhibitors, which can be quite challenging for those looking for a spotlight amongst the crowd. But at the same time it is also a signal of the international importance of this show.
A collective (Portuguese) exhibition
ETMA has been a long time associate of AIMMAP, a renowned Portuguese Association for the Metallurgical sector. Since AIMMAP has been promoting a collective stand at Midest, we are once again part of a big entourage coming from Portugal.
This Association has also just launched a mobile app called “Metal Portugal” in which you can find – in a specific area for each show, such as Midest Paris 2018 – all the companies that constitute this collective exhibition.
